These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Luxa ("the app", "we", "our"), operated by Laurentiu Gheorghisan, Bucharest, Romania. By downloading, installing, or using Luxa, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Luxa, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Luxa is a digital photo and video frame application that displays your photos and videos as a continuous slideshow on your device. The app offers AI-powered curation, face-aware framing, cinematic display effects, and integration with device gallery and Google Photos.

3. Early Access

Luxa is currently in early access (open beta). Features may change, be added, or be removed without prior notice. The app is provided on an "as is" basis during this period. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve the app.

4. User Content

You retain full ownership of all photos and videos displayed through Luxa. The app does not claim any rights over your content. By using the app, you grant Luxa a limited, local-only license to access and display your media content on your device for the sole purpose of providing the slideshow functionality.

If you connect Google Photos, you authorize Luxa to access your Google Photos data through the Google Photos API. This access is subject to Google's Terms of Service. You may revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings. Luxa's use of Google data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Freemium Model

Luxa offers both free and premium features. Some features may require a subscription or one-time purchase. Pricing, available features, and subscription terms may change. Any purchases are subject to the terms of the platform (Google Play Store or Apple App Store) through which you made the purchase.

8. Intellectual Property

Luxa, its design, code, branding, and all associated intellectual property are owned by us. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Luxa is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects. AI features (smart curation, face detection) are best-effort and may not produce perfect results in all cases.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of photos, or device issues.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms in the app or on this page. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using Luxa at any time by uninstalling the app. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the app if these Terms are violated.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
